I don't understand the need people have to try to impress people with something they clearly do not have. It's like the people that slap on ///AMG badges on a non-AMG car. Example: So you just bought your C240, 230, 320, or whatever non AMG model, and the first mod you do to impress your friends and the general public is to put on an ///AMG badge on the trunk lid. Think about what you're doing. To the people you are trying to impress (general public/friends), most have no idea what AMG is, or what it stands for. So you fail there. And then to the people who actually know what an AMG car is and looks like, you fail again, because we can see from 10 miles away and thru thick fog that your car is not an AMG car. So why bother?
I personally have no concerns telling people I drive a 4-cyl C230. No insecurities here. Instead I like to impress people a different way...by telling them how good my fuel economy is in this car.

I love my C230. My friends have been continually impressed by the C230K, all for different reasons. Some love the gauges at night, some love the supercharger whine (even if the car isn't fast), some love the high-speed stability - all are universally impressed by fuel economy. My car is reliable, comfortable, and has adequate power for all situations. I'm not ashamed of it at all. Now if it were a C240....

I was able to spot the C230 brakes and I don't know how I found more picture that weren't posted
Matt was able to confirm my findings and very helpful info (basically the judge )
I had a feeling it was that's why I posted the brake question but didn't want to jump the gun. You know how many times at Fox I said "Hey I found malicious activity look and made a big deal but it was a normal script that was importing and transferring data" loool
It's my Job BLT you remember what I use to do for a living right?

At this point, this guy has ZERO credibility. IMO, the only way he'll be able to redeem himself is to take a pic of himself, sitting in the trunk of the C350 (yes I can tell from the open trunk) holding a poster with his MBW UserID.

I was really unsure if this was the right thing to do when talking to Karo about it. But they just don't mess up on something like brakes. He tried to avoid incriminating photos but overlooked the brakes.. a fail on his part. LOL @ Phil's link to his post number 666.

This thread isn't a comparison. This thread is about a member stating that he traded his C230 6MT for a C350 6MT and then took it to an auto cross. Which by first glance seems that the member is legit but the brakes gave it away. Finding this insulting to other members and myself I had to take action. That action is on page 2 of the tread which I found more pictures (don't ask me how) and was able to prove that indeed both cars are the same. I recieved help from 2 other members which one assisted in determining and examining the evidence and the other who want to stay anonymous helped as well which I can't give details because his cover will be blown.

There were small batches that had the 1.8 (if i remember correctly, 2002.7+) and others that had the 2.3L engine (earlier 2002 manufacturing). Personally I liked the 2.3

Not sure why they kept making the cars slower. The M271 was slower than the M111 cars and the M272 2.5s were slower than the M271s.. At least the M271 was more efficient.
