Honestly, my 204 and 203 feel so similar that people barely realize what car I'm driving at times. They only figure it out when the screen is in a different position.

I'm not sure what changes were made from '09 to 2010, but the new w204s seem more solid to me. I don't dislike the car, I just feel slightly overwhelmed by the w204's interior. I feel more cozy in the 203s. I do still love the 204s, though. The 2010 wheels are much better than the previous as well.

I totally agree with that. That's kinda why I prefer to drive my 203. LOL. Honestly, I prefer my 203 interior over the C63. I remember flying on the freeway at 130 in a C63 and thinking "wow, my '05 feels like this".

The C63 is a ridiculously tacky and stupid automobile, IMO. It is one of my least favorite MB cars of all time. But the reason I quoted this post is because the high-speed stability of the 203s is very, very good. My car feels better at 100mph than at 50.

Yes - the 203 is very planted at speed. On the open road you frequently don't realise just how fast you are travelling. They measured quieter than the S Class of the time which suffered some wind noise (both with 320 engine)

The 2010's do feel a bit different, better, I agree.

You know i always wondered, of course my moms S class feels like a tank and isnt wobbly or anything at high speeds, but my 203 still felt more stable and quiet, I wasnt sure if I was just partial or what.
But yeah IMO, the 203 feels much more stable then the 220 or 204's.

Wow Glyn, SA market cars seem so superior to what we get in the US. Makes me wish I had an SA build one. I didn't realize the SA ones are double-stitched....something else I love/appreciate, and wish my car came like that.

My 05 C230 has the genuine leather seating inserts, and the rest is MB-Tex. I'm fine with it. I still get the leather smell from the inserts, plus I get the durability of the MB-Tex everywhere else. No one (and I mean no one) realizes that the majority of the seats are not real leather. So I have to give MB-Tex props for looking "genuine".

Yes, the door inserts do give it away. I definitely prefer the "gathered" leather on the doors on the cars with the full leather package.

I think I must be the only one left on the planet that prefers cloth to leather. I hate getting into a hot car with leather when I'm wearing shorts. But, for most people, leather = luxury.

MB tex is supposed to be the standard seat covers / seats if u may say that comes in C, CLK, E, SLK, ML, R, GL line up. Unless, the premium leather option is available, but majority of these classes comes standard with MB-tex

the bit higher end CLS, CL, S, SL, G already comes with the premium leather or designo edition leather option.

ALL AMG models come with the "AMG Leather seats" either embossed with ///AMG or ///AMG plaque.

anywho, MB-tex can be seen in comparison with the leather package by:
1. MB text is more harder / and has the rough surface appearance
2. are usually BLACK
3. and the side panels are smooth, no pleats / folds

Premium leather / AMG leather:
1. not black, instead charcoal in color daarkk darrrk gray but lighter than the black MB tex seats.
2. soft to touch, smooth appearance, smells like cowhide, wrinkles in areas that has been seated on much.
3. door panels are pleated / folds
