DTR light/ check engine light after car wash
Hello,
I'm having some trouble with my 2003 C320. Basically, today, we washed the car (outside) and I had backed it into the driveway perfectly with no trouble, but when I tried to move it back, I turned the car on and it wouldn't turn over, with both the check engine light and the DTR light coming on. There are no faults and/or malfunctions. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Could it be the battery or something?
when in the on position, the car works fine - it just won't turn over.
Help!
Thanks

Hi Jasmin. Did you find out what the problem was...and the solution? I have the same car and the same problem. The key turns but I get nothing..and the check engine and DTR light come on. I would really appreciate any information you have!

Yeah, turns out that it was a battery drain problem. I jumpstarted the car and it worked fine, but the next morning the problem came back again. Did some research, and I realized the thing that's going on with these cars is that their seat modules have a problem going into sleep mode, so it drains power from the battery. Solution: unplug the seat modules from under the seat while you're not adjusting the seat. When you need to adjust it, just plug them in and adjust it, then unplug. It costs like 1400 bucks to fix, not worth it if you ask me...

C320 DTR light
My car is currently in a body shop having some repairs done to the passenger side. The body shop just called to tell me that they had to push the car out of the paint booth because it will nost start. They said that the DTR light is on and that the batter shows it will hold a charge, but the car will not start.
My mechanic told me that it could either be that the key had gone defective (sounds not likely) or that the body shop may have done welding without detaching the battery cables.
Any insight/information?

Oh.. I was thinking that all pre-facelift cars had DTR lights even though that system wasn't available in the USDM on the W203 to my knowledge.
