Though my dad is anti-mod, he doesn't mind some of the small things. He didn't notice when I debadged, or when I got a flat badge (though I had one of those on my CLK that he put on at my request). The smoked tails were for a reason: When I got the car, one of them was broken, and it was cheaper to buy a pair of smoked than a single regular one. My HIDs were actually a gift from my girlfriend, and he actually likes the subs, though he wouldn't like the price. I still don't know how I can play off the wheels, but I'm thinking of something. He just wants the car to be tasteful.

Funny you bring this up. My mother questioned my exhaust, finally. I was vague of price and when I did it, but she just wanted to make sure it wouldn't void my warranty. Painting my grill black throws both my parents off..

I have to worry about the wheels. I'm sure they'll notice that one right away. I'll just claim that I got them for a cheaper price than what I sell my current wheels for. That should fly.
