Oops. Classic "off in the weeds".
If you go into dyno mode with a like car what are the SW and HW revisions that come up? Would that help? Also, I don't believe the engine is ULEV. I don't believe MB sells a ULEV vehicle in the US. It should say on a sticker under the hood if it is. Good luck, keep us posted.

not sure but I think they're all ULEV now. Either way, I'm pretty sure in this case, ULEV denotes the emmissions standard, not the actual classification of the engine itself.
There are differences between the V6's where some of them are E85 and others are just E10.

Eric, do you know what the procedure is of resetting the ecu? By this I mean whenever you are doing a change DAS in regular mode it resets the module for you. In developer mode you have to reset the module yourself. I selected ULEV before but it doesn't make the change. I believe I am not resetting the module (ECU) correctly and it's jumping back to the setting.
The damn thing doesn't even let me go into dyno mode so I can atleast see what model and version it is

Don't mind the OL- that's the oil sensor but I heard we just have the one that says it's low not exact amount (FAIL)

I fixed it guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No error and now I can turn on and off my traction control. Before the triangle didn't come up.

There was an overide feature which was EU4 and NAG1 and 3.27.
I changed those to ULEV, NAG2 and 2.82 and it worked. Then I was able to select the right w203 version in the previous pic.
I'm soo glad it works now. Last thing to do is test to see if ESP really works. I did a full scan and got no faults. Before I use to get ESP fault and the code stored said ESP not properly coded with Engine Management.
I deffinetly learned my lesson.

Mike, I checked on this and there is a feature. Before anything you can download the code and save it and when stuff goes wrong you can just upload your saved data.

I couldn't have done this without Eric. He gave me some good info. He explained to me what each of those codes mean. Without that I would have probably messed up my car even more lool

Tested it today ESP works fine, no problems with car, I believe everything is fine now. Hopefully this will be a lesson to our DAS explorers. Be very careful when you play with Developer Mode.

I had Sunil make most of the changes I want to coding. Unfortunately I got STAR to help fix all my problems, not fun coding
![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
1)Reset my memory seats and positions. Easy exit is broken for my seat, and my wife can BARELY drive the car because the damn seat doesn't go far enough forward. It used too. Hope I can fix it with STAR.
2)Fix my ongoing CEL for code P0012. Hoping to be able to test camshaft control so I can fix it once and for all w/o just throwing new parts at it.
3)Fix my sunroof. Auto open and close both just move a few inches, then go back the opposite direction. Tried the re-sync several times with no luck.
4)I want to change my oil change my service intervals on the MFD to every 10K. Sunil set it for 9300 miles.
5)I want to service the 7G myself, and to do that correctly is much easier with STAR.

Eric, I clean and re-grease it every year. I also clean and condition the seals 2-3 times per year. Even if I "help" the sunroof close by pushing it along in the direction it moves, it still stops and retracts.
