My guess is that if $2,000 was quoted by someone, it was for a pre-summer 2000 Kleemann pulley ($1,757 + retail). I think it is easy to see how that could be $2,000 installed...

 

I remember asking Brandon about this, since he is the one who told me to contact Autowerks, and he said it was probably the price for the old kit which had more parts and required relocating some stuff. When I re-inquired, I was told that the price quoted was correct, so I just dropped it. This was about a year ago. No hard feelings. Mistakes happen.
