Wow how's the ride? I had C7 wheels (I think they're 17x7.5) and i got some 17x8 aftermarket wheels with 235/40/17s. I wanted a bit wider and was thinking just going with 245s but if 255s work on c7 it should work on my Flik Lex too. How much did u pay for tires and where? thanks.

Hi tberry,
The wheel on the photos is an optional C7 wheel. It is 8.5" wide as opposed to std 7.5".

Here are Michelin Pilot Sport specs on matching rim and tire width.
I haven't put them on the car yet, still have the winter tires on![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Yes, to my surprise MB makes 8.5" C7 wheels. I was waiting for some service one day and was looking through their wheel catalog and found them there.
Let me find my invoice....
Part number is 6-6-47-1515
They were not exactly cheap, but I figured that since I only need 2 of them it's not that bad. They were listed at $568CAD/each, I paid $480CAD/each, which is about $320USD.
I realize that for this much I could've purchased some AMG wheels, but then I'd need to get all 4. Plus I like the C7 wheel design anyways.

Hi Young,
Thanks! I'd keep the other 2 as spares.
So I have wheels available to refinish, when I scratch the ones on the car, which I do all the time![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I even managed to drop a bike on the new 8.5" rim and scratch it![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
No I did not replace all 4 tires.

Correction, the part number below appears to be a Canada (or at least non-US) MB part number.
The actual name of the wheel is "ALSHAIN 7 SPOKE"

i called my dealership and they have no idea about it. they said that that part number wasn't popping up. his theory was that it was unavailable in the US... note that it was like pulling teeth to get him to check for me.
i wanted to say, "please help me spend money at your dealership..."
