Side Marker Help

Hey guys i need help removing the front bumper side markers on a C-coupe. i know this sounds dumb because the manual says to slide to the rear and pop the front part out. but i can't seem to pull it off nor does it seem to slide, infact it almost feels like when i try doing that it seems to pull the stripe of the bumper out so i don't want to break it. any suggestions?

Use flat-head screw driver...push it back and pry it.
Be gental and cover the head with cloth so you don't scratch it.

I just use a credit card or my security card from work.

The bumper takes VISA/MC, but not AMEX.

^^

but yeah cover a flat head screw driver with a cloth and (i forget which way to slide actually) i think put the head on the front (so facing driver side marker would be the left edge) of the marker, and push it towards the rear, itll come loose then you just lift and the front part comes out
