I Just test drove the C320 Coupe 6 spd.

Yeah, that's right, I just got back from the dealership. As you might already know, I had to go to set things straight with them, as they ordered my car w/o Pano roof
(see https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=34541 )

So I asked to test drive the C320 Coupe that was supposed to be my car and they agreed. First of all, I gottta say that I really enjoyed driving it. It's preety quick too: It seemed to me that the 0-60 could be reached in the mid 6s.

If you wonder what happened with the issue of my car not being ordered right, here is the lates update: The dealer reordered a new car today(End of May delivery) and agreed to give me a C320 wagon loaner for FREE while a wait for my car to arrive. As for the insurance of the C320 wagon is concerned, they are paying for it. My insurance company is only responsible for the deductable which is 1000$

Now, I have to say that I really like the way the dealership handle the matter. Trust me they are doing the right thing, my dad was so amazed by that, that he's about to order the E500 4-Matic he's been thinking about for quite a while!

Glad to hear things worked out for and that you're happy with the treatment from the dealer.

Sucks that those morons hosed you, but I'm still envious and am still pissed that MB didn't introduce the 6s in 02. My car has depreciated so much that it really leaves me with no other option but to keep and enjoy it. I'll let it ride mostly stock until I start to push 50k. Then I definitely want better sound and a pulley!

Considering that - like me - you live in a metric country, 0-60 in 6 s is not all that fast

Seriously, I'm glad you got a good temporary arrangement from your dealer. The wait will be painful though...

Well, the wait will sure be painful, but not as much as you think! I get to drive a 2002 C320 wagon for FREE until my car arrives!:p

C230 Coupe
I had a problem ordering my car also. The dealership gave me another C230 with 67 km on it to drive for a month
