Which speakers to tap for sub
The consensus seems to be to use the rear speakers for the sub.
However I found a power point presentation from before the w203 face lift that detailed all the changes. In it I found some interesting information.
It seems that the front speakers are designed to hit lower then the rear.
Now I dont know if this is simply due to them being larger, or if there is some sort of eq built into the speakers.
I need to hear from people that actually know the Mercedes audio20 system. Is there a built in EQ used on the low end stereo system? POssibly to protect the speakers?

So I answered my own question again. With a bass test cd.
They all put out 20hz. The fronts come through cleaner and louder, but that might just be because its a larger speaker. There does not seem to be any signal filtering at all by the audio 20.
I have found that the back right speaker might be blown, or there is a loose wire, I'll have to find out when I do my moleskin
