The C32 bars leave room for gains. To be honest, most of our sway bars have been sold to C32 owners. They obviously feel the need for more. You can do a search in the C32 forum and find many customer's reviews of our sway bars.

Stiffness of the sway bar increase with the 4th power of the increase in diameter of the bar. The front AMG bar is 1.5 times stiffer than the stock bar. At the rear, the AMG bar is 3 times stiffer.

I recently drove my wife's '01 C320 sedan on a fairly long day trip. It was all freeway travel. It seemed to me that the car had an annoying trait of swaying as it moved thru the ups and downs of the road. What I mean is, it seemed to twist along the longitudinal axis, much like a dog walks...you know, front torquing one direction and the read the opposite.
Anyway, is this a situation that sway bars can correct, or is it something else? The car has approximately 18K miles on it, stock 16" rims.

Prior to getting the Eibach's, my car floated like a boat. I test drove a C32 and while it was better, it wasn't that much better. After the Eibachs, all I can say is, turning is fun again. The car just stays flat on tight corners. Plus, I can adjust the front sway if I want more/less understeer. The stock understeer is a b*tch. Very uninspiring to say the least.

Have you changed your suspension? While it is more expensive, the right suspension setup can be many times more effective then changing your sway bars. Sway bars should be used to fine tune the suspension, once it is setup the way you like.

The nuts and screws are larger ones for the bigger end-links. There is some arguement whether the end-links need replacing at all. The Eibach kit, which are larger sway bars than the AMGs, uses the stock end-links. Decide what you want to do and go for it.

Cheers, BT
The AMG end-link may not be required, I've installed AMG swaybar without using AMG end-link altho I'm quite concerned with the 2mm gap betwenn stock end-link and the AMG ones.

What I've decided to do to look for some kinda metal "bushes" that'll fit the gap. I couldn't find any "bushes" that fit the gap so I tried my luck and look for other alternatives. I ended up buying a pipe holder (well ...sort of) which is about 1mm in thickness then cut it to strips (no wider than AMG swaybar) then molded it make my own "bushes". I placed it between the end-link and AMG swaybars and I worked like a charm .
Heres the pic of the "pipe holder"

I cut the "pipe holder" to strips and use the screw driver attachment to mold the strips to a good ring shape.

Final result ... "metal bushes" ... this ring fits nicely between AMG swaybar (11 mm diameter) and stock end-link (9 mm diameter). Just make sure that the width is the same or less than the width of AMG swaybar.

The results are very good, I'm very happy with the reduced body roll. The car now corner better, its like the car really goes where you wanted to. The back of the car is now nicely tucking in during cornering. I've also noticed that the car is slightly bumpier now...but not that much ... only very slight harsher.

I've also got a better set of tyres on the same day. Maybe this contributes to better handling along with addition of AMG swaybars. All in all...I'm very pleased with the upgrade. For AU$350 (or US$200) its one of the best bang for your buck upgrade you can get for your car .
