hi all

i have a c180 thats just started to go weird on me i ve got this annoying sound that only happens when i drive the car its like a whirlling sound coming from the passenger side if i put my clutch in and coast to a junction it will go away and if iam at a stand still and rev the car their is no noise only happens when i press the accelotor and the car is moving

its weird i dont think its anything to do with tha AC as i ve read the thread on that and my cars AC works fine

any help much appreciated

Is it louder with the p-side window open? Maybe it's a piece of plastic inside the fender rubbing against the tire. Pretty hard to trouble shoot "whirling" sounds in a forum.

its hard to describe really thats why its wierd its defo not hissing its more like a ticking sound doesnt get louder but does get faster as i pick speed up it something in the car as its coming from near the passenger side front footwell of the car if that helps at all

Have you checked for stuck stone in tire treads or screw?
