ORIGINAL WHEEL SIZE
I have a 2005 C230 Sport Sedan.
Several months ago I bought some tires from an individual and went to a local tire shop to have them installed. Yesterday I was at my local MB dealer getting oil changed and they pointed out that I had the tires mounted in the wrong position; front tires on the rear and rear tires on front.
My question is are the wheels the same size so that I can switch from front to rear as if I were just rotating the tires, or are the wheels different sizes so that I have to have the tires remounted, balanced and then reinstalled in the correct position?

Went to the place where they mis-installed the tires. Found out they put the wrong tires on the wrong wheels. So the wheels were in the right position, but the tires weren't. So, they would have to dismount, remount and the balance the tires. They were all ready to do this, but they said there was too much wear on the outside of the tires that were on the back of the car and they wouldn't remount them.
I'm 99% sure they were just trying to sell me new tires, so I just told them to put everything back to way it was and left. Last time I'm dealing with that company, even though I've been dealing with them for years.
The MB dealer said that I have about 5,000 miles left on the tires, so I'll just wait until I buy new ones and get everything done then.
