C230 Coupe Rear End Noise
I have an '02 C230 Coupe that has developed a strange noise from the rear. I've searched the forums for several days but, can't find any similar symptoms to mine.
During acceleration I hear a clicking noise. During deceleration (coasting) there is a loud whining/grinding noise. The clicking noise appeared about a year ago but, seemed to disappear. Now it's back with the whining/grinding noise.
I only drive the car maybe once or twice a month so I just parked it. The only mods are an ASP pulley and 235/35/19 F - 265/30/19 R. Other than the typical sunroof issue, this car has been flawless for the 6 years that I've owned it. (92000 miles)
Has anyone experienced this and what solutions were found? Or any educated suggestions please. Thanks in advance.
