I recently had my 04 C230 Krompressor service "B". It has 100K miles. There is a long list of recommended items, including replacing the SCM. I was wondering is this something I can buy and "plug n play" or does it require some programming. It going to cost me $500, so thought I'd ask the forum. thanks in advance.

 

If i'm not mistaken you have to pull out the steering wheel.

You need to take off your airbag then take off your steering wheel then take off the "steering column module".
