Thinking about aftermarket rotors + pads

I have the dreaded HUD 'Brake wear lining' message, so I was going to replace the pads in the next 2 weeks with some ceramic pads (akebono ? ), and I was also thinking about getting some newer rotors to supplement the ones on my 02 c320.

Tirerack has some rotors available, I just wanted to know what people's thoughts are on swapping rotors out from OEM to something else, if anyone could recommend a brand.

Thanks!

eventually you'll need to replace your rotors on your brakes, as long as they're up to OEM standards you should be ok. tirerack offers some good ones plus they have great customer service. akebono is the pads i'd go with for sure.

Try "brakeperformance.com", they sell rotors and brake pads at reasonable prices, and shipping is usually free.

Might as well add SS lines if you're going to go through the trouble.

I'd definitely recommend Akebonos - I had no brake dust visible, which was great.

no brake dust is hard to see on gunmetal wheels

SS brake lines agree great, I agree with Tommy. But for an upgrade to those, get a set of cross drilled SS brake lines.

I disagree - they must be cross-drilled AND slotted.

MK - actually, previous pads' dust did show, at least to me. I guess I'm ****.
