My car was previously owned by a idiot.....and it has a sun burn.....
Ok lets attack these 1 at a time....and BTW Florida=heat fail:
I am pretty sure and no offense my car was owned by some rich slore, who didn't take care of this car.
I have had a few things bugging me I have been attacking and finding out allot of things about the last owner.
1. The console trim looked like there was crap in-between the metal and the console vynal trim. So I look up the how to and pull it up. Well its basically was crusted dried up coffee, one of many coffee stains that are all surrounding the console and the carpet. No big deal cleaned it off the sides and now its much better.
2. Pulled out the seats to vacuums in-between them and the console there is like 4000 gallons of dried up coffee on the carpet there 2, on top of the over all dingyness (SP) of the carpet, which bugs the crap outa me. I think Im going to order black carpet (any one have an idea of a cost) I got it to look better, but I haven't been able to get the carpet 100 percent clean.
3. My air filters....Those ***** pick up so real crap, while front air is super, it inhales epic amounts of dirt, leaves, bees ect. Im ok with that but G D people that was like a sand pile in each side, and to top that off I know the tools never did the "120 point inspection" because if they did they would have sen the mess in the air filters and cleaned them, and also noticed what looks like the remains of an ant colony which has to have been when the car sat for a long time. There where tons of dead ants in between and it looked like they where laying eggs or something. I vacuumed and blew the filters out but its clear they need replacement.
4. Skin cancer....So cleaning the console today (along with the coffee stain removal and I find the stupid vynal is like peeling when I rub on it, you can see in the pics. Its so wierd, did it on the glove box the console trim and the trim between it that by the stereo. It comes off like skin after a sun burn, you rub and it comes off. Its odd to because it always looked dingy or yellowed and after scrubbing the "dead skin" off the vynal looks all magical and perfect even toned grey. Its weird because the top of my door panels have that same yellow dingy look and but ive cleaned them many times and never had it peel. So any ways here are the pics, any idea wtf is happening here?

My arm-rest did the same thing in my couple. I scrubbed it off. It was like a clear-skin coat over the piece to protect it. Like I said, I scrubbed it off and went to using an exposed arm rest. The arm rest was fine but I routinely cleaned it because it sucked up stains and oils from skin super easy.

My 05's got slight wear on the armrest, but the dash does not do that in any location. My car was a Pompano Beach, FL car for its first 3 years and 25,000 miles. I've had it ever since and it stays in a 70F temp-controlled garage when it's not on the road. Maybe that's why mine is still so good.

I'm sure a "rich slore" won't be driving a C Class, maybe just a regular coffee loving slore who knew he/she was driving the car for a couple years and moving on. TC

BTW I use leather conditioner with UV blockers on my dash and door panels. It leaves a deep matte shine without being glossy and has kept my dash looking new.

@ Adidas:
You have to be very careful when it comes to those leather-like plastic pieces. No circular motion, very very little pressure and only cleaning products such as Lexol. The same thing happened to me about 4 years ago when I wanted to clean my armrest. Luckily it was only a very small area and ever since I pay attention and it gives me no troubles cleaning.

Yeah, I know I have detailed cars and used a commercial vynal cleaner ment for cleaning cars. I just found it odd it happened, I kinda wanna do it to the whole car, and pull off the top layer of skin or **** or whatever it is, the clean and un ladent vynal under it looks amazing, and its not that hard to get off, I was just put off by it.
I still think the owner was a slore though mainly because there is glitter like permanetly stuck in the perforations in the passeneger seat. Which may mean her friends a slore or another homo owned my car, however I am a MO and like most of them where **** retentive about cleaning our cars which leads me to believe it was a slore...I love the phrase slore. Hoe my gawud, Im sooo drunk

I'd prefer you didn't blanket generalize all "homos". I'm also unaware what "MO" even means. I keep all my belongings clean - it has nothing to do with my sexuality.

Ha, Mo is short for HOMO and I am gay, Im generalizing a visualized truth, me and my guy friends whom are gay keep our **** cleaner then any girls we know. Not bad to be clean! But as a whole gays are known to be cleaner then most any other sexual orientation, not that it defines them but it certainly rings true in my life

"mo" is listed on urban dictionary so that must be true...lol, thats a new one for me. Doesn't sound very flattering though.

Ah, okay, not familiar with it. I'm gay, but that's not any sort of defining trait for me. I don't have any gay guy friends because (if I'm being completely honest) I dislike them.
Anyway, back to the car topic. Is there any remedy for the armrest issue these cars have other than replacing it?

I had this same peeling on my car, but it appears to be from using protectants. I used too much Aerospace protectant on my dash. I think the peeling film was all of that built up protectant coming off. I actually scrubbed the area with a hard bristled brush, some soapy water, and a ton of pressure. All of that crap peeled off and the dash looks like new.
