2003 C230 Coupe
![Smile](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif)
Hey everyone how's it going. I'm new, I have a 2003 C230 Coupe that I bought from the US and shipped over to Europe. Wahooo. Anyways I am back in the states and want to know what would be the best HID kit to throw in it and what would be the best alternative Headlights since I cant really afford the OEM bi-xenon, I found a some Bosch smoked headlights that look good and the Anzo projectors. Also as for the HID's I came across some philips ones but from my knowledge they only make bulbs not full out kits. Here are the sites if you want to check them out.

DDM has some good HID systems.

I would only stick with 35w systems. A lot of members had problems with heat with the 55w.
The one you posted says phillips but only thing looks phillips is the bulbs and not the ballast.
I have DDM headlights and Fogs and I haven't had any problems.

Yeah I see that they have headlights with some kind of DEPO Ballast and Apexcone Bulbs, is that the ones you got, and did it throw any error codes and if how what did u do to fix it?

I got my DEPOs from en ebay member for 280. Then I just got the HID kit for headlights and Fogs for 80.
I set my car's Xenon feature on so I do not have problems. If you get any problems (flickering) you can set your cars Xenon on (Xenon=Present) but before this feature on my old kit I never had problems.

Im thinking about buying either the Depos or the Anzo projector lights and having them custom retrofitted with different projectors and bi-xenons..

working on my retrofit right now.. but waiting for retrofitsource to finish their s2000 replicas projectors. I'm putting them into some eagle eye lights that i got for really cheap with gatling gun shrouds.
I've done some extensive research on the subject so if you need any help on lighting just shoot me a PM if i dont see your posts

OK. I have searched the threads, and this is the most recent one. Some one please help me out: I would like to replace the headlights in my C230 Coupe. Mine look like spoiled milk has dried all over them. The aftermarkets' pickins' are kinda slim, but I am sure someone here can point me in the right direction.......right? All I want is a clear headlight assembly to update the look of my car.......
