2002 C240
C240 CD Changer and top speed question?
Does anyone know the part number for the MB 6 disk changer for the glove box mount C240 ? A203 820 90 89 maybe???

Also, does any one know the top end of the C240. I have been to 111 MPH before I had to let off. The speedo goes to 160. How fast will it go ?

Here is the top speed on mine. The speed limiter kicked in.

Hmm Ive taken mine up to 130mph before...where exactly is the speed limiter? So I guess we cant hit 140...how sad.

Yes, that's the correct part number for the CD Changer that goes in the glove box. Sometime you see it on E-Bay for a reasonable price. If not you can always get it for $399 at autoclass. You'll also need the part number for the bracket and fiber cable that's not included.

2001 C240 6spd
I just got the performance products catalogue (www.performanceproducts.com) ...they also have the cd changer available...same model ( but they use different product #). Same price as autoclass...$399.

I have gotten my C240 up to 130....felt like it would go a little bit more...the magazine top speed tests say 143mph is as high as this car will go....in stock form...the car feels a little soft at high speeds....the car seems to float a bit.....would like to see how the car feels when lowered a bit and suspension firmed up......
