i know, i was there at the ends... seems like all the sedans came in here to bash on us and one reason they have is to not separate us, but seems like they are doing a fine job of trying to push us away

C230 Kompressor Coupe
Im with this guy, it would to me seem more effective to divide by engine, since they are totally diff, C coupes still use the same electronics and engines as there sedan counterparts, only diff is there *** and lack of 2 doors.
Also this late in the game do you really think vendors would want to invest the time and money into a old platform whos aftermarket never really started or grew in the 1st place. C classes and C coupes are a very small share of C classes, and I don't think having your own forum would help but make you guys further separate in a already small auto modding community.

and who told you the coupe wasn't success, it even got second generation as the CLC but yes some people dont see further then the place they live.

I have nothing against the coupe, don't get me wrong. I have an extreme distaste for the OP of this thread who, as Glyn observed, is really just trying to start things - you know, a troll. I'm not sure how someone who can transform a CL203 to a CLC can be so ignorant about Mercedes-Benz. This is the same guy who insisted to Glyn and I in another thread that every C-class car sold in North America after 2002 was built in Brazil, as well as rambling aimlessly about the M111 and being corrected by Glyn and myself over and over. I told him my car's VIN started with "W", that the door stickers said it was built in Germany, as did the window sticker -- at which point he informed me that no C-class after 2002 was built in Germany for the USA market.
Come on, I have no patience for stupidity.

And i don't know what you have corrected me on the about the reason for them making cars out of EU is cutting cost and lower taxes, do you know how much same equipped C Class cost in EU and how much does it cost here, because there is a difference of 15000$, or you think its because of your blue eyes they sell them cheaper here so they lose money i dont think so.
And to prove that my cousin both last year w204 C220 cdi, and guess for base, which has no electric seats no leather, the dash has is not like the one here it has ugly looking small black screen, audio 20 16'' metal rims he got for 38000$ from the dealer.
So what else do you want me to say

I don't know what you're talking about with the costs.. I don't care. My VIN starts with W.. meaning it was BUILT in Germany. A lot of people here will have the same. This is not a difficult concept.

So here's a link to a for sale ML with a VIN listed
So much for that "they all start with W" nonsense. The start with W when they are built in Germany. This is not my opinion, this is a fact.

Matt is right, the first letter of your VIN shows the country where your car was manufactured.
There's a whole webpage that will detail your VIN for you:
http://www.autohausaz.com/mercedes-a...n-numbers.html

OUT OF TOPIC!!!
You're wrong, again. The Benz plant in Alabama produces the ML, which has a VIN that starts with 4. 1 and 4 are for USA.
So here's a link to a for sale ML with a VIN listed

You are out of line! He has nothing against you, except that you are spewing incorrect information! He is right about the VIN, and the ML is a damn good example. Mercedes isn't going to change the location of the country code from car to car. It is an industry STANDARD!!! All cars start with a letter or number that indicates the country of manufacture. Who the hell do you think you are THREATENING people on the board. You may have done some work to your car, but you obviously lack the knowledge that you feel you must boast! You aren't fooling anyone. Most of the members on here know what is correct - you are just making yourself look more an more like a bloody fool! Grow the **** up or get the hell out of here!
