Say YES to separete C Coupe Sub forum.
I am starting this because it is about time that we the C Coupe owners have our own place, its not just fair that we have to post and search posts into the w203 and w209 sub forums.
Our coupes may be similar to the w203 and w209 but they have so much different body and electrical wise that's why its not w203 coupe but its called CL203.
I hope we get lots of votes and they listen to us so please guys lets get our own place, our own CL203 Forum.

I'm a great fan of the cl203! But on while we're on the subject of the R-Class, I find very few people in there who are actually enthusiasts who contribute to diy's and write-ups, but rather people who are just poking their heads in the forum to ask if they got a good deal, show off their new R, or perhaps when the occasional person needs help fixing an problem. They don't stay too long, and I'm not saying there aren't any enthusiasts in there with R-Classes, some fresh lookin' R350's in there!

I dont think that'll be a good idea. I mean yes there is a difference between the coupe and sedan based on appearance but everything else is the same...engine etc etc. And if a person has a problem and post it on the "SEDAN" section and the guy who has a "COUPE" has the answer. The guy the SEDAN will be scrwed because the Coupe guy would stay most of the time in the Coupe section

I beg to differ on this statement . . . there are more of us than you think "Brett". Enough to have a subforum :drive: Of course you have my vote on this or otherwise revive Terry's Coupe forum

1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
I think, if the w203 AMG guys can have their own forum, then the coupes should be able to, too. They can still be active here like the AMG guys. I'll be sad to see them go, but I hope they will be active in both!

a bit late in the day (given the age of the coupe now), but definetly worthwhile if only to be able to locate 'coupe specific' information.

^ Count me in as well.
The biggest reason for this imo is when there are body or electrical posts that are body style specific. Then one has to dig around on the W203.
Honestly, keeping them separate wouldn't hinder searches either, since you can simply change your search to include both W203 and CL203 forums.

i am visiting the forum less & less because 95% of threads does not concern me (sedans)...
when i wanted to browse the pictures thread, i was very annoyed by the fact that 90% of the pictures are for sedans..
SLR, G, R classes forums, AMG subforums do not have more users than the Ccoupe subforum...
Of course, we can keep the big threads such as wheels/suspension/led/.... in common since we do share these parts.... but panoramic will be only ours
same for the coupe head/tail lights and body parts...
btw i proposed a coupe picture thread couple months ago, and i was bashed by admins (or someone with a lot of post)
i vote YES

LOL...not another one of these again.
let me just ask a simple question, what else is difficult for you to search other than head lights, tail lights, and bodykit being different?

We have to get our own sub forum, why does all those sedan guys think we shouldn't, it is not fair for them tho have one and we to have to be in the shades.
We the CL203 guys post allot although the Sedan guys think we dont.
We just want our own place where we wont have to ask will it fit the coupe or will it work for it.
And if some Sedan person asks what is the difference, why dont they try staying into the W209 section for a while searching around and then we will talk.
We post enough and we deserve our CL203 sub forum, and i hope that we are given one so we are put in equal position as the Sedan guys.

I mean those are different and have different electronics??
Edit:
Sedan guys have nothing to do with it..don't blame this on the sedan guys. All these years people were fine until you came and demanded "We have to get" your own section. I'm for your proposal but try to reword it so it doesn't seem you are putting anyone down.

You know the Coupe was marketed to Teenage girls right?
CL203 stands for "Cute Looking 203". That's what the sales guys were using when they were selling it to the teenage high school girls. The high school girls finally found out that the body style was called a "Coupe" so now they market the CLC203 as "Cutest Looking Coupe 203". True story I read it on Wikipedia.
So let's give these Cuties their own sub forum
