Thanks bro

With my wheels I have a love and hate relationship. Some days, I hate those wheels and want to get different ones but then some days I just love them. I don't know what it is

I'm gonna get it fixed tomorrow. Hopefully if everything goes right, I'll post some sounds clips and maybe some runs

Right now I have an exhaust leak and it sounds horrible

but overall, nice should've just given me the headers so i can rock'em for you on the 204 tho. LOL
Thanks Frank..it's soo worth it but then again you have the C32 to play around with

----------------

I went to Cypress Muffler and Steve took care of the exhaust leak and the steering shaft. One of the bolts were loose making my car sound like crap..easy fix. He took off the steering shaft and banged the header a little and the rub is gone. I only notice a rub when I make a left turn at fast speeds (over 30 mph or when I accelerate like crazy when making a left turn). When I turn right there is no rub at all even over 30mph or while accelerating. I'm a happy camper, Steve was such a nice guy he didn't even charge me for the steering shaft and even bought me lunch

The car is a different animal now but this adaptations is killing me. Sometimes I'll be on the freeway and just punch it and I'll feel the power and withing seconds I'm already at triple digits and pass cars easily. Sometimes I'll punch it and it wont do crap and will just accelerate slowly . I haven't erased adaptations on both the transmission and ECU, i'll do that tomorrow.

Karo,

When I reset my adaptations, my car felt like crap. The transmission got really lazy. It is still not what it used to be.

Way cool. Takes ***** to put a part from the W204 onto your W203. Sad part is that making a bend for that part of your exhaust is likely to cause a restriction. No matter how slight. But, if the car doesn't turn, your exhaust is for not.

Hey Bring it over, I'll take a BFH to it.

boo square tips. Buy frank's carlsson tips

Your car looks pretty low already w/ the stock suspension, but a drop is really gonna do those wheels some justice

Really? When I erased adaptations both the ecu and transmission the car woke up after 5 good pedal to the metals. The shifts were harsh but I kept pounding the gears and now it shifts slow.

John, have you tried Performing Adaptations? This is when your star is hooked up and you go for a drive. Instead of the computer picking up the style over time you can go for a drive in that short period of time and it accepts those values.

Maybe you can give that a try

Seldom get through a workday without the BFH having proved useful.

Congratulations on your headers, Karo!
Props for giving those pesky G35s and G37s an honest run.

A clueless local dbag (not saying your friends are) Infiniti pilot nearly shat himself after suffering my very first C kill.

Thanks Splinter, These G37s are not all that. I'm sure you gave them an insane beating. After the outcome I went in search of answers. The word on the G forums are the G35 Sedan is actually faster light to light than the G37 Coupe. The G37 sedan is faster than the coupe because it is lighter. There are even claims that the G35 Sedan has given the G37 sedans a good run. The G37 is only the dominant male on the freeway (which I'm not doubting-all this was on the G forums). I have a feeling the G37 is overrated.

Next I might call up these guys again and film it since I know soo many people are like "WTF is Karo talking about?" I know Matt still thinks it's driver error

Karo,

In all fairness, I reset adaptations right before hitting horrendous traffic jam. My last tank was 16.4MPG, so that shows how much crappy traffic I was in. I may give the "perform adaptations" a try.

I'm going to change the bushing because car handles like a Camry (hahaha Matt). When I turn my steering wheel to the right I get no Steering Shaft rub against the header BUT when I turn left I do. Do you guys think my engine mounts are bad? Car has 45k miles..time to change engine mounts?

Thanks

Are you seriously only at 45k miles?!? I'm already well into the 46,000s. Your motor mounts should still be fine, unless you have rough vibrations at idle or any sort of knocking.

LOL

if you get smoked by a 3000GT then it's probably the VR4.

my computer said outside temp was 185F. lmao...i wiggled the outside temp sensor a little bit and it went back to normal.

My left engine mount is broken. It's most likely due to my driving. I was at my friends house and the question came up "why is it only rubbing when I turn left and not right" so friend's dad took a look at confirmed it's broken.

Put car in Drive and Hold Brake and give it a good rev. On mine my left side jumped like crazy. Looked like the engine was going to pop out

I guess this is why it only rubs when I make a left turn. Part is around 96 bucks.

I have attached the WIS document on how to change it..not that bad.

It had to be more than a VR4. That thing pulled on me like it was a Bugatti Veyron. I don't know how fast they are stock but I have a feeling this thing was modded up the butt.
