Does this feature only work if you have the memory pkg or will it work without the memory seats and etc?

I think it only works on cars with the memory package.

You can't program how far it will tilt down, only whether it will by leaving the passenger mirror button depressed. And yes you need the memory package.

Cool

I just came across this thread, as both my W211 and my W208 have the same issue. I will try the "sync" procedure. It may be more exercising than syncing, I would assume.

For the record, you _can_ actually adjust the park position of the mirror, at least if your car is equipped with memory seats: Set the mirror to the desired park position, press the memory button and then, within 3 seconds, the mirror controller to the downward position. Works that way in W210, W208 and W211 (own experience) and, per the manual downloaded at mbusa.com, also in the W203.

The re-sync procedure worked for me a few times, but not permanently. As of today, the feature doesn't work at all. Even with it enabled in the IP and the passenger mirror selected, no movement.

It will move just fine if I use the pad to adjust the mirror. It just won't do the park assist anymore.

I used the Tru procedure on my CLK when I first got it and it's been fine up until now.

I'm glad this thread got bumped. I was bummed out when all of the sudden my park assist stopped working and didn't realize that the mirror adjustment had to be set to the passenger side.
