Hey Fellas

Woke up this morning, before heading to work, to a broken-in drivers side window. Thanks be to God, nothing was stolen or additionally vandalized. Looks like it was hit with a large object (bat or something to that nature). I was wondering if there are any good shops in Los Angeles/Orange County area for DRIVER window replacement? Shoot, if it's an easy DIY, i'll even do it.

sorry i don't have info for a window but i just had to say dam that sucks at least they didn't take anything else

 

hit the phone book up or your dealer or google, most dealers call people in to do that kind of stuff, so If you have a good dealer they may refer you to a shop? Was it tinted, because you will have to get it re tinted to match

 

Correct, the windows were tinted (aftermarket). IF you're reffering to the natural MBZ tint, it has/had the blue tint to it.

 

It does man, i have really no clue whom might of done it.

1st possibility: Sister said she heard/somewhat saw a white Honda pulling up then taking off to our front/right neighbors house and heard 3 shots fired? I didn't hear anything during my 6 hour sleep, my room windows were opened and my room is at the front of the house too! Well, where my sister believes the house the shots were fired, the father of the house has the exact same car as me (05 C230K, black colored with black tints, same wheels). The only thing different from our cars is the rim color (alloy vs chrome). So it's possible that the two cars were mistaken.

2nd possibility is: I parked in front of my neighbors house (3 houses down from mines) and over heard them saying "he got the parking spot blah blah blah" something about me taking a spot. I didn't think much of it since it's not their drive way and 2nd i've never had problems with any of my neighbors, let alone in parking. Everyone shares each others portion of front house parking.

3rd possibility: March 6, 2009 i got into an accident with an ex-friend of mines. I was the driver of his vehicle (04 Honda S2K) Long story short, we got into an accident near the mountains in Big Bear, CA. Accidents do happen, car flipped over and made it out alive. It was midnight and we were both tired (no alcohol or drugs involved). Next thing you know the rear tires lose traction and car flips over after hitting a dip on the road. Fast forward, he completely went against the situation and tried setting me up for an attempted man-slaughter situation saying I put his life in danger and so on and so forth. I know for a replacement, he got a 00-03 Honda Civic in white color. But the guy lives 50 miles from me and haven't had any physical or verbal issues/arguments with him. Insurance is still looking into the case.

4th possibility: A man or woman random act of vandalism.

Funny thing is my car was the only one (in sight) that was damaged. All other cars/windows were not damaged. Strange isn't it?

Shot's fired? Why would they be shooting at EITHER of your cars?!

 

Where do you live dam shooting should not be common? I would say number 3 people do crazy things and this (friend) trying to set you up and stuff is crazy.

 

10 miles east of Los Angeles. It's nothing surprising to anyone. Things happen anywhere in the world.

 

Last time any shooting was done must have been 5+ years ago. Who knows....who knows... *sigh*
