Lynn, you really do know everything. Ok, so there are many more color options in Europe. But there's probably still a good chance that those cars are custom, just because it seems like that is what that company does. But if I'm wrong, that's okay. I won't lose any sleep over it.

I agree that the SL is a custom, but I think the CL and the S may be Euro Designo, especially the S.

2002 Mercedes C240 Desert Silver Java Interior
What does Designo Silver look like anyway? MBUSA website says youve got to see it to appreciate it. Well in the picture they show it looks like a ligher Desert Silver. I dunno, just very curious how much better designo Silver is over regular metallic silver. Anyone have any pics?

designo silver is something like champagne...something like desert silver..but slightly lighter...
when i pick up my coupe..i asw a designo silver CL at the pick up bay and was totally blown away by it.....but 2 mths later....my brother bought a CL in that color and i got used to it....

I think this is option for AMG only. I’ve seen a lot of weird colors on SL AMGs around here lately. I’ve seen weird blue, weird green, weird purple (LoL, weird!) and now this weird pink! Actually this one looks kinda brown!

not necessarily. I remember seeing these sierd designo paints on cars like CLK200's and SL350's and mainly on S320's and S350's.
