Kwik Coilover Question

Senor Kwik, or anyone else that might have first-hand experience with coilovers on the C-class sedans.

On W203 Sedan

Carlsson or H&R coilover?
Who actually makes the Carlsson components (Eibach)?
Are the designs the same?

Since there is no longer a Carlsson distributor for the U.S., just get the H&R. It will be much easier to get

Thx for the Kwik reply but

Carlsson CO can be obtained, that is not a problem.

What do you think about them technically?
Did you really enjoy them on your car?
Is H&R better made etc?
Is Carlsson based on Eibach?
Who makes the damper?

Thx

If you would rather talk off-line, PM me please.

I was under the impression that Bilstein made all those (or most of them) dampers using the tuner's spec. & put on the tuner's sticker on their dampers. Don't all German tuners use Bilstein anyway?

I really liked the ride of the Carlsson COs (Mrs. KWiK didn't )

The C with H&R coilovers that I rode in wasn't quite as nice as Carlsson's, but close. Which is better made? Hard to say, I didn't need spacers with the Carlssons and I hear others need them with H&R.

The rear dampers for the Carlsson kit were made by KW. The springs by Eibach. Not sure about the front dampers but I suspect also by KW.

I don't think either will be a bad choice.

How/where are you getting Carlssons?
