brabus shifter?

brabus shifter?
i got a brabus shifter for my 05 c230 and it doesnt seem to fit.

i noticed that the thing that connects the shifter to the boot is not the same shape, the brabus shifter and slightly slanted at the base but the old one is flat and has an extra chrome bit. did anyone else have this problem? will i be able to get this thing on with the older boot?

yup got the same one in my car. you can use the same boot and same clips from the original shifter.

but was wondering where you got it from and how much? =D looking to get another one.

just take off the bottom part under the boot and put it on the brabus shifter. you'll need to pull the boot a little to properly fit it.

ah, I see what you mean now. you'll need the piece that locks onto the leather boot and the shifter lock from the 01-04 shifter then.

by part numbers there is only one for the W203 which is the one you see chkoo got.

by whatever fits there are two. The second one would be the R171 shifter that some ppl here have and the one I had.

the transmission stick is different i guess, it makes the clips on the knob flare out so that the cap doesnt fit.
