screwed up help!!
I put mother's tire and rim cleaner on my standard oem rim on my 2006 c230 sport sedan. I didn't read the instructions and it said to wash off after 30secs...well I sprayed it and went on line for the car wash give and take bout 4mins but it was 98 degrees and the rims weren't too cool. I noticed a haze on it...I tried respraying it again in a cool place and washing it off and nothing...then I got a cleaner wax and nothing...I went to a place and use a 1200lb pressure hose and notice some came off...please help what can I do....

The wheels are clear coated, and it seems your cleaner has discolored that. You might need to have a paint shop strip the old clear coat and respray the wheel. That's worst case scenario though, I would try calling the 1-800 number on the back of the bottle and asking them about it first.

it is true they are clear coated but temp resistance clear coated. What kinda spray did you use? Because honestly rims are able to within brake dust road grim and extreme temps. I'm really finding it shocking that a off the shelf retail wheel cleaner would affect the coat.

+2 on calling mothers. Reputable company, and if something can be done, they will be able to help.
Don't be afraid to ask if there are any "risky" type solutions you can put on the wheel to rid the haze. They or Mequiars may be able to point you to a professional compound that can help.
Heck, I'd take this question along with some pictures to the Mequiars forum.
