Oil + filter change after break-in?
On my two previous new vehicles ( both motorcycles ) there were services at the end of the break-in period to replace the engine oil and filter. Is it really ok to wait 10000 miles for it at service A as the manual implies? How often does your dealer recommend that you change the oil and filter on yours? Thanks.

i did a oil change after 1200 miles.... eventhough the dealer's first service is at 10000. i thought it will be a good idea to clean the inside of the car after break-in period.

Out Of Control!!
I waited until service A which was somewhere around 11,000 miles. I've had no problems what so ever. The car actually feels a bit more perky now then when it was new.

My Dealer said that since they use Mobil 1 in the engines, there is technically no "break-in" period. He just told me not to exceed 4500 Rpms for the first 1000 miles. I just hit 1100 yesterday
