Cool Full or combined brand parts?

I saw on a lot of people all kind of parts like AMG badge with brabus shift knob and rieger spoiler and all kind of combinations like this.
What do you think about this? Would you combine different brands of parts or just set up the car with a single brand? (like AMG kit, amg steering wheel, amg shift knob etc.)

Hopefully another MB soon..
Do whatever you want! It's YOUR car, it shows YOUR personality, Have fun

But I'd stick to as little different brands as possible(only if the name is very visible or something) , but hey, thats me, not you

I get the part that I consider the best for whatever I'm looking at, and ignore which brand it is.

For example, I have the Renntech pulley and rear spoiler, Carlsson front spoiler, Brabus steering wheel, pedals, and door pins, Supersprint headers, Eisenmann exhaust, Recaro driver's seat, Sparco shift knob, etc.

I can't think of any particular MB tuning company whose product line is so diverse that I would stick to them (and none of them certainly is the best at all of the products it offers, either [except for AMG - I think that everything that you can get for our car that is an AMG part is inferior to what is available aftermarket, except for the engines, of course]).

Though the man in the stirrups has the right answer; do whatever you want. Except for God's sake, if you have a Brabus badge anywhere, you at least need several thousands of dollars of their stuff to warrant it; otherwise, it's being a poseur.

Well, i like my car to be clean, so i don't want to use any brand at all. (or i would probably make it full AMG , because it's a classic tuner)
But i want to hear more opinions.

Do whatever you like to your car IMO - less badges/words/emblems the better

I like how ya did the front bumper in your sig ... I wish someone would sell me their silver updated (non amg) front bumper so I could do the same.

"full AMG" means heavy wheels, no possibility of spacers, no exhaust/header/intake mods, no chipping, fairly boring body parts, skinny swaybars, very limited spring/stut combos (and none of them with big drops), and bigass, uncomfortable shift knobs.

But if that sounds good to you, it's your car. I just do not understand limiting yourself in that way.

It was just an idea. I don't want anything AMG on my car. I want to be unique , without any badges, any brands.

@TruTaing, thanks. I want to change also my grill with this:

Being unique is what modding is mostly about. Sure it's about improving a given platform, but there's no fun if you can't do it your own way. Brands are brands and quality is derived by the value you put into an item and it's name.
From a marketing standpoint, being a brand ***** is shunned upon. Often times, you run into conflicts of interest in two manufacturers (they make similar parts).

Again, it's all in what you want it to be. I have a 05 C320 Sport and it proudly sports a Renntech trunk badge. Sure other W203's shave emblems to look "clean" but a lot of times, they also do it to cover up the chosen model (which is no better than sticking an AMG badge on a non-AMG equipped vehicle).
I say this with many years of marketing and sponsorship experience for various companies, and many many more years of personal modding and show/magazine experience.
"It's your car. Do as you please... If you're proud of it, then who really cares?"
