CD changer magazines

CD changer magazines
Does anybody know if the CD-changer magazines in the '01-'02 C-class are the same as the magazines in the '99-'00 C-class (and all other '99-'02 M-B models).
I know the CD changers are different, but are the magazines the same?

I'm 99% sure that they are. The CD changer for1998 cars and up are Beckers and before that, they are Alpines. You should be able to by a Becker magazine at your local car audio shop and save some money.

Actually, the '99-'02 CD changers are all made by Alpine (except for the '01-'02 C-class, which I'm not sure). I bought extra magazines for the factory changers in my '99 SLK and my '02 SLK from Circuit City. They were 2-packs for $30, Alpine part number KAE-216C. I just want to find out if these will also fit the changers in the '01-'02 C-class.
It might be that the '01-'02 C-class changers are made by Becker, in which case the Alpine magazines probably won't fit.

So, I'd say it's an alpine manufacture. If I'm not mistaken, Becker does make a compatible changer, but the MB branded and MB installed changer is sourced from Alpine.
