Suspension creaks... HELP!!!
okay, for the last few days my entire suspension has been creaking like crazy after every bump i go over. its driving me crazy and im a little concerned as it seems to be getting worse. i have the cup kit installed, could it be that it got loose? can it be that my shocks are dead (only 40 000km)? any help please. i can't take it to the dealer cause they'll blame it on the cup kit and say that it voided the warranty. anyone?????

My car is making a loud "clunking" noise everytime I hit a bump somewhere in the left front suspension. Is it possible that it may be a bushing? Any other suggestions? It keeps getting worse and worse, and my service experience with the local dealers have been terrible. I was trying to avoid taking it in.

Find another dealership that's close to you if you don't like the dealer you are going to right now.

If your suspension is making a loud clunking or knocking noise it's likely that one of your shocks is "shot" broken, busted or whatever you want to call it. When my coupe had 6000miles on it one of my rear shocks broke for no apparent reason. I never hit anything hard or bottomed out, although the shocks shouldn't break for those reasons either. It was replaced under warrenty. My front suspension creaks quite often however. I'll take it in this week for the 3rd time. The lubed my bushings last time but it's still making the noise. Of course my car seems to stop doing it right as I pull into the dealership and they can never duplicate the problem. I figure sooner or later they'll just get tired of me and replace the bushings that everybody is reffering to. I'd have your suspension checked out and make sure your shocks are o. The dealer told me it was the first time they'd ever seen this problem. Good luck!
