C200 CDI 2003 2.2 Litre CDI
My MPG computer reads 75MPG over 32 Miles at 38 MPH, can I trust this figure? this was one warm day evening (27 C), usually it reads between 57 to 65 MPG in Summer and 45 to 55 MPG in Winter.
I have not bothered to check the figures independently.

Those sort of numbers are possible on a one way run with a very light foot from a diesel. You should do a 2 way run on the same stretch of road & average the result. This would even things out if you were tending to run downhill.
I also presume you are talking big Imperial gallons & not small American gallons.
