have a 2001 C200 with 2.0 liter engine. The stock 3.27 rear end

I ordered a 3.07 rear end

I am slightly concerned about the automatic transmission "computer".Does anyone have additional information to help me with this swap? T

You will need to swap the TCU under the right floorboard.
SOMEWHERE out there in the great ether is a list of pn's as they relate to rear end ratio's but it was MANY years ago I saw it in one of the forums, possibly the dead one.

But yes, the ratios are pn specific for the TCU.

There was a long thread on this, and someone finally got it working.
You will have dead car that won't go and is constantly triggering the ESP if you just put it in.

Might be some ECU programming required, ie Star diag.

Search very closely and you may find what you are looking for, and it was in a 203 forum.

yup, c230sportcoupe is correct. You'll get a tcu code if the rear ends are different. You either need to it reprogrammed or get the correct tcu for the rear end.

Your speedometer and odometer will also be off as well.

but i did try on 3.07 the gear was lock
