Urghhhhhh!

Urghhhhhh!

For the sixth time in a row, my fuel gauge has broken. THis time it ran out of gas (OK, it was a block from a gas station).

How freakin' hard is it to make a gas gauge that works? Every other car maker does not have this problem.

Thanks for listening.

Maybe the lemon law case will get settled soon and you will get a new car- Then someone else has to deal with the gas gauge problem!

Hopefully!!!! I have a conference with the judge on May 2nd. It should be interesting. As if a SF jury will find in favor of of a multinational Corp. I'm still not sure why MB has not settled.

Ran outta gas?? ... I thought the fuel gauge actually display less than what you actually have in the tank??? .. you must have ignored the low fuel warning for quite a while then....

Nope, it's stuck on a 1/3 of a tank this time. Would have never thought it was this, but it's acted like this once before.

It has also not worked at all, shown less than what is in the tank, and does not show a full tank.

are you keeping a video camera in you car to catch all the wonderful moments? Having video helped me get my settlement.

I think I just need a camera.

Thanks

I videotaped my car for my lemon law trial. It took me about 6 months. The longer the better because if you win you get a refund based on the mileage of your car at the first incident. So you can drive the car until the wheels fall off, smoke stinky cigars in it, leave the sunroof open in the rain and you are OK, even if the brakes or tires are completely worn, they can't penalize you like they do on lease turn ins.
