Auto Dimming Side mirror?

Auto Dimming Side mirror?
Question
Why do I only have one of them?

I thought I didn't get auto dimming side mirrors, just the rear view. Recently I took my car to the dealer and complaining about the turn signal indicator warning light. So they replaced the turn signal assembly. After that the mirror where they replaced the LEDs has been auto dimming.

Its quite nice.

However the other mirror does not dim. Was this just a plug that the dealer had to put in to turn on the auto dimming mirror or do I need hardware to get the otherside to work the same?

Were auto dimming mirrors standard for a 2007 c280?

The passenger side one should not dim. If you have an auto-dimming rearview mirror you should have always had the driver side mirror also auto-dim.

Edit: I think it was part of the sunroof package.

my car come with the sunroof also auto-dimming 1 side. (Driver)

Agree,, auto dimming and HEATED mirror only on the driver side

I believe both of my mirrors are heated (I've never seen them fog), but only the driver's side is auto-dimming.

Yes - I've had my mirror covers off to fit clear blinkers & both my mirrors are definitely heated.

My passenger side mirror does not heat but the driver's side does (as well as auto-dim). I'm not sure if it ever did or not.
