03 c240 4matic front differential drain fill plug???

I changed my rear diff fluid easy enough but on the front i can only see 1 plug on the right side is there 2???

usually there is a drain fill plug

?????

There is only plug 200 in the diagram. You have to suck the oil out of the front diff.

well its an 8mm allen key/hex

needed to remove the swaybar bracket to get the hex in the hole straight it was tight used a piece of tubeing and start to siphon the oil out its really black but smells normal..used gear oil its a PITA to do the front but at 120,000km it was due

On my '07 C280 4Matic, the drain+fill plug is readily accessible via the wheel well. Remove the right front wheel, you will see this...
(the picture is taken without removing the wheel, I just turned the steering all the way out)

yes but that sway bar bracket is in the way I could not get the 1/2 drive 8mm hex on straight without removing it after that it was fairly easy

good pic of it!

contact148, have you replaced the transfer case fluid? I've been searching for WIS instructions for changing the transfer case fluid. That seems to be complicated procedure of having to remove the cross-member and the trans mount, ...
