by the way the c-class is the third best selling car South Africa, behind the Toyota Taz (early '90s corolla hatchback), and Toyota Corolla. 3 series BMW is like 5th.

BraZil is English spelling and I believe most other Nordic languages also spell it this way.

BraSil is the spelling for other Latin based language like Italian, Spanish, Franch, or Portugee. I don't know why English (also a Latin language) spells it differently.

It is more like BRASIL is the official spelling used by the whole world (british english) and BRAZIL is used in US (American English)

As an example, this is like practice vs. practise
