You sure about the headrests? I thought the ones in my 06 C230 looked like those.

Those weren't factory on the 06 and begs the question what has happened to this car to warrant these replacements?

I am also in full agreement about the C55 v C350SS 6MT. There is NO substitute for shift-it-yourself if that is what you enjoy. The extra horsepower is not going to make up for the automatic if you really want a manual. The C350 is going to be a significant portion of the performance of the C55 without the additional weight in the nose and decreased gas mileage. I think the 6MT 350 will be a much more enjoyable car to own and drive than the (stupid) V8 C-class.
2006 has the active headrests. Trust me I know I hated mine.

Yep. All this time I thought the active headrests were 07 only. I always thought they were better than the headrests used until 05. I stand corrected - the 06s and 07s have the actives.

Karo here are photos:

I HATE the active headrests. They chatter like crazy no matter what you do. At least mine do.

Really? Weird. No noises from Drew's 07 I was in or my relative's 07 C230 either (and I've been in it a lot).
