wheel question

do you guys think I should use the wheels from the Audi on the merc and get new wheels for the Audi or should I get new wheels for the merc and keep the wheels on the Audi?

The pic is a few weeks old and I have since it was taken lowered the merc.

both look good they way they are, The bigger wheels with the chrom lip and all looks good on a sedan and will look horrible on a station wagon (my openion) and the wheel on the wagon looks good as they are(BTW...I am huge fan of station wagon's), so in my honest openion save your $$$ and keep them the way they are or go for new wheels for the audi and sell your current setup .........

Audi centre bore is wrong for Merc even though they are 5x112

The center bore isn't really an issue since the wheels have a big center bore and are fitted with interchangable hubcentric rings on the Audi, change the rings and the wheels fit the merc

The Merc is getting 19's, that's already decided. What I wanted was the general opinion on if the Audi's wheels would look good on the Merc or if I should get other wheels.

I've had the ACE wheels on the Audi for 4 or 5 years now and I like them alot but at the same time it would be fun to get something fresh and new.
Also my wife uses the Merc as a daily-driver / kiddy-transport and it wouldn't feel as bad if she should happend to curb or bend a set of wheels that are a few years old.

...and the wheels are not chrome...

Understood! The standard Audi centre bore is 57.1 & Benz is in reality about 65.7mm

How does your wife feel about driving on 19's? Cause once you go bigger than 17's the ride comfort goes down and she'll feel everything on the road and dont know if she'd like driving around with the kiddos feeling every city titty and pot hole. IMO i'd sell the current wheels or keep them as spares and get new ones for the audi.

My wife won't mind the rougher ride, she's used to the Audi and she used to roll in this before...

Always like the VW hatches, was really considering the 03 R32 20th anniv. edition couple years back. The wheels wouldnt look bad on the wagon if you're looking to upgrade the wheels on the audi. You can just always test them out and if you dont like them sell them and get some money off them at least.
