When I go over bumps the sunroof shade rattles (2006 C230). I've searched the forum but have not found anything on this. Any ideas on how to fix?

been rattling for me for the past 6 months man...its like the padding on the edge wore off and now plastic and metal are touching when normal vibration occurs...of course mine does it whenever i drive

Had a similar issue.. mine would rattle and even slide back a little sometimes. Told my SA about it when I went to service the vehicle and they had to replace it; only way to fix it. It was at no charge though because I'm under warranty. Take it to your dealer and have them look at it.

Only rattles when closed.

Mine only rattles when open. I guess the next time i have it in for service I will have them look at it.
