2007 C280 4matic characterstic's???
I have one but don't know anything on this kind fo 4matic drive system. Can some one guide me to a good link or article that can give me all the knoweledge that will make me a more educated 4matic owner.
I want to know the drive characterstic's of a 2007 c280 4matic drive system.
Hec i dont even know if it is all time 4matic, or rear wheel drive and auto 4 matic or 40/50 front to rear...........
Any help would be much appreciated............

Thats the new 4matic, from what I understood it got a revised 4matic system. Which is why they dont have a drive shaft taking up passenger leg room (like I have)
The old one was nominally 65:35 torque split full time 4wd with 3 open differentials. That used braking to transfer torque.
I know because I can spin each wheel one at a time in the snow if none get traction. The car spins the FR,FL,RR, RL, then repeats until it moves.
