More news, tommy is apparently planning to come, for sure, and Amdeutsch will know early in the week. Here's a chance for all of you in Texas to meet these legendary members (LOL!)
There are plenty of hotels/motels supporting the Texas Motor Speedway complex. All the usual suspects, from expensive to cheap. Pick your favorite and visit their website. Poch, we would love to see you (and your wife) too... You will enjoy Fossil Rim.

OH yes finally I have found an MB event, I got BMW club of dallas at 3, I'll try to get my fried with a clk500 and sl55 to come out, and I drive an e430. The BMW club might be coming out, also.

An added incentive...
As a further enticement to get you busy North Texans to this meet, I have two (2) but only two, extremely rare, valuable, and highly coveted "MBWorld.org" window stickers to give away (LOL!). We will raffle them to those interested, and who SHOW-UP in person, with your MB, at this meet. Winners can pick any color stickers they want, as long as they pick SILVER. They look like this...

With 8 hours to go before the meet, the weather forecast from two stations say cloudy and windy, with only a slight chance of thundershowers NORTH of the metroplex, only. So, it appears we will have good weather for the meet, starting at 4:30 pm today, at Texas Motor Speedway. Hope you can join us at the South Tunnel.

I had a blast, specially at the last lap, we (MB-BOB and yodlebenz were riding with me in my car) had the car just above 120 mph at the exit of a curve!!! Wow, what a rush, righ after that we had to get hard on the brakes because everybody was exiting and had slowed down quick, they slowed down from 70 to 20 we slowed from 120+ to 20 as well. We had a new SL behind us, he was keeping up fairly good to 100 mph a couple of times (we did 100 mph 2 times and 120+ once )
I'll post some pics and video once I'm back in houston.
Weather held up on us, there were quite a few Benzes there, but we didn't have a chance to say hi to anyone else.

Sorry that I missed the meet yesterday. 
Got to the MS border, and was falling asleep at the wheel at 6am. Didn't think that I had enough juice to do the add'l 10 hrs before wrecking the car.
Bob - hope you understood my message. Called just after getting cut off at a casino in Gulfport ($400 richer, though - can you say Eisenmann exhaust?), so I'm sure that it was a little garbled. 
Looking forward to the pics, though.
Speaking of alcohol, I'm in the French Quarter right now, so I'll be logging off to return to inebriation...

I'm sory I missed it, I got egged the night before and was sorta pissed, and did not feel like spending any more money on my car since some punks did about 200 in damage, and did not even know me at a party. Does anyone know some good paint shops in the area? and is their a place for a local board to ask questions like this?

Yodlebenz, Pocholin and I had a lot of fun. Maybe some pictures will get posted. I'm frankly a bit peeved that only the three of us were there.
