I'd consider driving down from Sacramento if it's gonna be one huge event. But if it's two smaller ones then I don't know.
Just figure out where it's gonna be. Besides the distance to everyone, does one place suit this type of event better than the other? Large lot, less likely to get harrased, etc.?

i thought driving from Santa Barbara was far! 
yes guys..... lets just keep it at Northridge. there are people that can lead us for a little run later... so, its gonna happen at Northridge!!!!!!
please don't start a war and have 2 sides. a GTG is suppose to be about FUN! meeting people!! plus..... the gas prices have dropped. so no one should have any excuse on gas $!:o

I agree, this is supposed to be a friendly meet not a battle! Jerry is right, security shouldn't bother us at Starbucks if everyone acts maturely and not like a bunch of d**kheads. I also talked to Sprewell Racing and they said depending on the amount of people we have, they are willing to come to Northridge and check out our event. Does anyone know anybody else like at evosport or something? Another couple friends of mine from MBZ Motors and Advanced Paint & Body will probably be there as well for tech. questions and stuff like that. I am also trying to get my friend from Star Benz BMW junkyard to come as well for any requests for anything people might be looking for. I hope this is going to be a good turnout. I have also seen a couple more Benz's driving around the area this week and have mentioned it to them as well and they will also spead the word...

man I wish I could come to this gtg and see all the benz's together with some ferraris! too bad that woln't be happening until a UC school decided to let someone from out of state in. Have fun guys and post a lot of pics

if it's still northridge, there's no way i can go then because of the stuff I said earlier about my friend's b-day bbq in huntington beach. But the event is still a month away, we'll see.

well..... earlier is fine. but just give people time to get ready. it will take me about 2 hrs to drive down from santa barbara. i would think it'll be nice if everyone had lunch already and then come to the GTG. we can make it earlier to like... 1 or 2??

i don't think i can make it to northridge, but i think it might be a good idea to just let this thread die and start a new thread with info for the meet so people who haven't been keeping up don't have to sorth thru 20 pages of posts to figure out what's going on. i agree there should only be one meet on may 31st and i'm glad silvac32 finally put his foot down and decided on northridge since that was the original decision, but it looks like there was a decent number of people who wanted a meet in la/oc... maybe we can organize a meet for some other day.

well...... i do really hope that there is only going to be 1 meet. not 2 meets 1 meet! this way we can have a bigger turnout. otherwise we can never get over 20 mercedes with this kind of participation.
