Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110? ???
Posted this on the tires forum but needed some quick feedback.
Anyone ever bought these and or are on them right now? There's a $60 rebate on em but I'm not too sure about the quality/noise...

2004 S55 (SOLD, miss it every day), 2009 GL550
I don't have them, but they are routinely rated extremely high (highly??
).
The only negative comments you will hear will probably be from people that are more concerned with being seen with brand-name tires on their sled rather than getting the best performance and/or value for their hard earned dollars.

Thanks a million for your quick feedback. Some idiot up at Discount Tire gave me this long spill about how he would never buy such low brand/low quality tires for his car. Said that for about the same price I should go for BF Goodrich or some Continental all sport. Then he says that for it being a sports car that I will have them worn down after 15,000 miles. I knew he was full of **** and just trying to upsell me. His manager even added a comment, "You don't buy a $40,000 car and put $10 tires on it! You go for the the best!" Wow is all I have to say.
Thanks Andy,
This is exactly what I wanted to hear. No humming from the tires is a plus!
How come you bought just the rears? There's a $60 rebate for the set.
Dynomite, your new avatar and sig is siiiiick! Thanks bro.
LOL Imused. I've also never been a name brand/decal/logoy kind of guy. I thought loooong and hard about getting my grill with the huuuuge star in front. I'm diggin it though but I'm thinking about painting it black too.
I can't complain about that Frank, I drive 100 miles a day, four times a week. All freeway and smooth sailing. Thanks for the heads up!
hahha funny that you mentioned that maverik, cuz I was gonna get discount tire to price match tire racks price too. You confused me with the $158 price cuz the ones I was looking at are only $87 a piece for the fronts. Then I looked at your sig and you're rolling on 19's. I'm still on the stock 17's. =) thanks for the input.

+1, I have them all around and I wouldn't think twice about buying them again.

currently have them. only complain is they have stiffer sidewall which in return gives you harsh impact feel over bad roads especially if you have uber stiff suspension.

i still don't understand why that sales guy fed me some b/s to make an extra $100 at most.

arent sales more about new clients as well as returning clients and not a about getting as much as you can one person at a time?

aren't the w202s the same as our w203s? 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. you definitely got off easy.

He was prob a douche trying to pocket some money, one thing I hate about driving a mercedes, and THE ONLY thing. Is anywhere you go people automatically assume you have money to thrown around. I am sure I dont speak for everyone but makes me feel like saying buddy I sweat as hard as you do to make my payments.
as far as sizing, the stock w203 is 7.5 front and 8.5 rear... my tires are only bigger cuz I am running 8.5 front and 10inch rear.
what tires did you finally go with?

idk lol...i mean they're just as quite as my toyo t1r as far as I can tell...they look cool lol...but other than that they seem equal to me...the question is gonna come in the longevity and the wet handling, although I'm usually more worried about my rear slipping in wet than my fronts...
