Hi all,

I currently have my 01' c 220 cdi with audio 10 casete

and tried to connect the Audio 20
, replacing my old pre-facelift one.

The bad news it doesn't work 100% it seems the unit freezes when using the steering wheel controls.

What can be done that will run from the steering wheel control?

Sorry for the bad news, but I still hope someone finds the way to retrofit it.

Cheers from Lithuania

Facelift cars moved to a MOST ring for audio components & thus the networking on the car changed substantially. Multifunction steering wheel buttons now operate via voltage coding

See the module listing attached that were changed or modified for the new networking regime.

To get what you have done to work you will at least have to change to the new SCM - Steering Control Module. I do not know whether you will have other conflicts. I expect that a Star DAS will be required to adapt this.

My worry is if you change the SCM it will operate the Audio 20 but might loose other functionality.
