Yes, for you or me, it's not worth the money. But for a person who wants a harder to find C43 than a C 4matic, it's worth it.

True. But see how it all goes back to its worth what someone wil pay. I wasnt trying compare my C240 to a C43. I was just saying how people(Many people) out there do overpay alot for cars and if I do put it up for sale I just may get that buyer. I am not saying that I will sell the car for X Amout of money but listing it for $16k is not out of the ballpark since many others are listed for the same price.

The spoiler choice thread where the guy asked a question about the spoilers on the W203 and everyone chimed in with accurate information and he refused to accept/believe it for the longest time. Here you've asked what your C240 4Matic is worth and have been given a figure of approximately $13,000. You haven't quite progressed through the denial stage.
Trust me, I can empathize. The realization that my 2005 C230K is worth $12XXX was hard to accept, too. But I have long since made it to the acceptance phase of grief.

Well since I didnt read the spoiler thread I have no comment about that part. As far as my car. I will say it again. If I do put it up for sale the money will talk and whatever the price is it is. If I was to list it I would still list it for maybe 16.5 or so because it leaves room for the buyer and the seller to make a happy medium. As far as the denial stage how can I be in a denial stage that its worth more when I havnt even tried to sell my car yet? We can go about this all day until we are both blue in the face but whatever the price is it is. I am only going by what is listed in my area and thats why I said for someone to list a 05 C240 4Matic in upstate NY for 16k or so is not too far off base since I showed you a list of what many many others are asking to. Not saying anyone of us will get the price but listing it for that price is not out of the ballpark really.

I agree with Matt....you won't even sniff 15k private party ...sell it for over $15,500 ill buy you a case of beer. If you are so confident as to the selling price why did you begin this thread?

I think you should just re read the thread. I am not even 100% sure I am selling it. I started the thread to see what the other owners had to say and I am open to all peoples input. I am not confident as you think on selling this but I will say this for the God knows how many times. All the cars like mine in my area are going from prices$15 and up. Hell one guy has one for 22k. I am NOT saying that I WILL sell it for whatever my asking price is but I dont listing it for a price of 16k is out of the ballpark since many others have them listed. If you go back to some of the links that are provided you will see what I am talking about. Sure most of the prices seem out there to most people but if that is what everyone else is listing them for why not follow. And besides you already know as a seller you will get knocked down in price so why not start high.

I think the most important link in this thread is the one I posted. It is your town, your car down to the exact same mileage, at a Benz dealer for $15300 asking price (meaning they'll probably take $14000 or less).

I saw that car. I drive by it everyday on my way home from work. I has been sitting there since like May or so. Nice looking but I got a gut feeling there is issues with it. Its a beautiful little car low miles and a great price. Shame to see it sit that long.
