where? Lateral acceletation sensor
Hi Guys,
My car is a 2002 c240. My friend got a star diagnosis software, so we scanned the car and found out it is the Lateral acceleration sensor that is triggering the ESP malfunction.
I need some help on where can i find the lateral acceleration sensor in the trunk is. I could not find it earlier when I was about to replace mine
Can you kindly tell me where it is in the picture below

It is probably the dull looking plastic box directly in the center of your picture. It looks like it is on its side (seems weird with respect to the gyro) with the connector facing left.
