Headlight Question - Round Knob on the Headlight
Hi:
Does anybody know what is the purpose of the round knob located in the
back of Hella headlight (2002 C240 for the US) as I indicated in the attached image?

Isn't that the location of another bulb? I really don't know just guessing.

I think it's a cap. Like a cover for another bulb. Take it out an see.

I did open the knob but it has no bulb. I am guessing it may be used to
adjust the low beam, may be for the horizontal adjustment.

Yeah in there are the gears and the bushings that rotate to adjust the horizontal position of the low beam bulb. I don't recommend opening that knob unless your horizontal adjustment doesn't work and you're trying to repair it.

No extra bulbs in there.
