Steering wheel jabs in the opposite direction while turning

I know it's a really old post, but i was wondering which brand of Steering Rack did you install in your car and if it did work out fine for you??? thanks!!!

I'm having the same issue after i replaced my control arms/tie rods. My steering was fine just days ago! Not a chance it could be the rack bushings? I'm seeing the PS lines "pulse" when the jerk happens. Any info?

I have same problem with pulsing steering wheel in opposite direction, it appears after front coil springs removal. Do you think that during springs removal was mine steering rack damaged? Was your steering rack damaged during control arms removal?

Have the same issue
When i turn the wheel, it wants to kick back. sometimes it'll kick back multiple times when I try to hold the turn.
I just had a rebuilt rack installed by some mickey mouse mechanics. I think when they installed the rack they hammered the joint out. I agree, it must have bent the rack end. That's what happens when you use mechanics that charge 400 bucks for the job.. =( when the dealer wants 1500.
Can't blame them for being hacks.
